Fall Senior Shoot’s

I was planning on doing a post for each a while ago but since I have had quite a busy past few months I decided to combine it some. I will highlight a few that were quite fun. I did two senior photos shoots at two very neat places.

The first one was in October at one of my regular spots McDaniel Farm park in Gwinnett County Gerogia. We did this on a Saturday night after the park had already closed. The front gates were closed but the back gate was not closed and another photographer was using the park so I was able to move around inside the park instead of just on the walking track. I got to use parts of it I haven’t used before. We got to walk around the old 1900s restored houses and buildings. There was allot to use. The ambient light was low enough I was able to capture some of the nice sky we had that night.

The next shoot was for the Caspary’s that I grew up with. I have known them since I was 1 and their youngest Danny was graduating. He needed some last minute senior portraits done before a year book deadline the next week. We meet in Newnan Georgia one of the few cities some what spared by the civil war because it was designated as a Hospital City. So much of the 1800s architecture still exists. I loved this and used as much older components of the city to my advantage. I would love to be able to open a studio in Newnan because my passion is older architecture. However it is about 90 miles from my house. =/ It was quite cold that day and I got there early to scout out some spots since I have never shot in the town. Mrs Caspary the night before drove around also finding locations also which really helped. It turned out to be about a 2 and a half hour shoot with many different locations. I would have to say it was one of the most fun shoots I have ever done.
